The Sacred Circles NC Ethos

  • No doctrine: We’re creating a playground of consciousness. There are many wise teachers and traditions which we draw on, as well as our own personal, lived wisdom – however we do not recognize any one person, doctrine, definition, or tradition as an authority. We create definitions for conversation clarity, not to declare Truth.

  • Personal sovereignty: Each participant gets to notice what resonates and what doesn’t, and create their own meaning, without being corrected or told what they “should” or “shouldn’t” believe.

  • Exploration over certainty: The gift is in the conversation and personal discovery process itself. We explore concepts, but do not intend to nail down a “correct” meaning of terms, ideas, or concepts.

To create a safe place for discussion, self-discovery, and learning, we adhere to the following

RESPECT

-Diverse Perspectives & Opinions

-Individual paths and pursuit of authenticity

LOVE

-Listening with curiosity over offense

-Suspending judgment

AWARENESS

-Take personal responsibility for your own emotions and actions (stay curious!)

- Considerate discussion over defensiveness (persuading/convincing)

Meet the Spiritual Minister

Rachael Harris has lead and left high demand religion. She bring decades of leadership and teaching experience to every event she hosts. She has walked through the fire of religious deconstruction and worked hard to re-construct a highly individualized and authentic relationship with Source.

With a background in psychology, coaching, and spiritual counseling, she brings these talents to the table in group and one-on-one settings. She seeking to take the good that religious traditions have to offer - and leave the rest, while helping others cultivate their own personal spiritual identities.

Rachael feels called to teach levels of new consciousness, and lead with authenticity and enthusiasm. We hope you will join one of our many events - from Sunday Circles, Women’s/Men’s Circles, Classes, Workshops, and Retreats - soon!

  • Founder, Head NC Minister

Rachael is the founder and creator of Sacred Circles New Consciousness.  As an ordained minister and spiritual life coach, she inspires people to live a life of awe and wonder, spiritual seeking, radical self- awareness, energetic alignment, and peace.

Rachael has a bachelor’s in psychology from Brigham Young University. She also has two life coaching certifications through Life Purpose Institute – Certified Life Coach, and Certified Spiritual Coach. She is also a Certified Havening Techniques® Practitioner, Certified Sound Healer.

Rachael has over two decades of lay ministry leadership and teaching experience within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In 2020, she officially left organized religion, realizing it was no longer in line with her spiritual path.

Personally, she loves to write and tell stories. You can usually find her hosting sound baths, gatherings of all kinds, and most beloved - local retreats and classes. She loves to walk in the woods, run on the Greenway, and dance in her living room.

Mostly, however, her best friends would say she loves to THINK and TALK. She loves to discuss philanthropy, philosophical questions, and anything that fuels growth and positive energy in her life and uplifts the lives of others. She thrives off of feeling and seeing the goodness in this world each and every day and witnessing that in others.

Starting Sacred Circles NC has been the fulfillment of a dream born long ago. She thinks of this business like a calling and takes it very seriously.

She invites you to come with an open heart and mind, to come see if you might find a community home with us at Sacred Circles NC.

  • What motivates me to come to SCNC is the deeper meaning and connection to oneself, others, and the Universe. I come looking to receive greater peace, purpose, and understanding of life. Sunday Circle gives me different perspectives. It helps me see what I may have been missing. What we share stays with me and allows me to make connections I wouldn’t have seen before. I enjoy our discussions and that everyone has the space to share, if they want to. I would definitely recommend coming and giving Sunday Circle a try. I have been searching for a community like this for a long time. I finally found people and a place where I can connect and grow.

    -Danielle R.

  • Sacred Circles has been such an important part of my personal growth. It’s a warm, open-minded space that makes practical spirituality really accessible. The focus on self-awareness, healing, and real connection is exactly what I’ve been looking for. It’s super supportive, with zero judgment, and doesn’t push any specific doctrine—I feel totally safe sharing, but there’s never any pressure if I just want to observe and take it all in.

The circles are full of meaningful conversations that leave me with new insights every time. I’ve never experienced such an authentic community with such diverse backgrounds, there is so much wisdom shared at each circle. Rachael is amazing at holding space and bringing people together.

If you’re looking for a grounded, heart-centered place to explore your own growth, I honestly can’t recommend Sacred Circles enough.

    -Jennifer S.

  • What sets Rachael apart is her genuine care for people. Whether through counseling, community outreach, or simply taking the time to check in with members, she demonstrates love and humility in all she does. Her presence brings warmth, encouragement, and a spirit of unity to our community. Thank you for being here and bringing all of us at Sacred Circle together!

    -Samantha E.

  • I’ve had the opportunity to experience several of Rachael’s offerings at Sacred Circles and each one has been powerful in its own way. Rachael is a gifted intuitive healer, and I always leave with more clarity and a deeper understanding of how to move through whatever’s unfolding in my life.
She’s one of those rare people who, even upon first meeting, makes you feel like the most important person in the room. She’s warm, welcoming, and genuinely listens with care. As someone who’s more introverted, I always feel both seen and comfortable at her group events.
And her sound baths… wow! I’ve never heard anything quite like them, so melodic and beautifully composed.
Everything Rachael offers comes from a place of deep care, and I’m really looking forward to her upcoming 5 Pillars of Purpose retreat!

    -Jill B.

  • I attended Rachael's The Five Pillars of Purpose Workshop and Retreat last weekend and I would happily say this was outstanding. First, the place chosen was so supportive to the work we did that day. An inspiring and peaceful land that ensured connection to the natural world. Rachael filled the day with a beautiful balance of information, stimulation, connection, meditation, time to explore the grounds and nurturing foods. All areas were taken care of so it was not only a day of self discovery, but rejuvenation as well. I highly recommend those that are craving to "know theyself" to get involved with all that Rachael offers.

    -Brooke K.

  • My family and I moved here from N.J a year and a half ago. We are so fortunate that we found Rachael and Sacred Circle NC.
This group has become a meaningful part of our life. Meeting twice a month gives just the right rhythm—enough time to reflect between sessions, but never too long to feel disconnected. Each gathering is filled with openness, encouragement, and a sense of belonging that’s hard to find elsewhere. Whether it's deep conversations, shared laughter, or quiet support, this group creates a space that feels safe and genuine. I leave every meeting feeling a little stronger, more grounded, and thankful for the people who show up alongside me. If you're looking for connection and personal growth, this group is something special.

    -Tim R.

  • Rachael, of Sacred Circles NC, is an amazing and intuitive healer, teacher, and guide. Her knowledge, insight and gentle guidance and encouragement for reflection bring so much value to the beautiful gatherings that she curates and creates, as well as to private healing sessions with her. I attended the Sacred Circle NC Summer Solstice Gathering that wove crystal singing bowl sound healing, creative projects, connection and reflection with community, guided meditation and amazing food! I highly recommend attending any of Rachael's events!

    -Breccia C.

  • I can't say enough good things about Reh and the events she puts on! It's truly the place for anyone looking to explore their personal spirituality. The community here is so open-minded and welcoming. Reh creates an environment where I feel like I can have enriching discussions that nourish both my mind and my soul. If you're searching for a safe space for personal and spiritual growth, you’ve found it. Come here and meet the amazing individuals I’ve met. You’ll feel you’re in the right place from the start.
